Community Energy Investment Roadmap

OurWinnipeg 2045 sets a new climate target for Winnipeg to meet or exceed net zero emissions by 2050. The Community Energy Investment Roadmap (CEIR) shows us how we can achieve this target.

The CEIR uses existing City plans as well as energy and emissions modelling data for the roadmap. It shows the costs and benefits of acting on climate change.

This information can also help organizations across the city plan for net zero emissions by 2050.

Winnipeg CEIR Dashboard

  • The CEIR Dashboard is a web-based tool that provides interactive viewing of the energy and emissions modelling out to 2050. The data is available for download and public use.

Open Data

  • Source and modelling data used to develop the CEIR is also available for download on the City’s Open Data Portal.
