Garbage disposal

We accept garbage from residents and businesses across Winnipeg. The garbage is disposed of in the landfill at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility.

Residents can dispose of accepted items through:

Their garbage bin or cart
The garbage section of the Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot (for a fee)
The extra garbage and large item pickup service (for a fee)

Landfill at Brady Road Resource Management Facility

Only commercial customers can use the landfill at Brady Road Resource Management Facility.

Closed landfill monitoring

Winnipeg has 33 closed landfills, which are regularly monitored.

Community clean-up garbage fee waiver program

Apply to drop off the garbage collected from community cleanup events for free.
