Addressing

  • Address annotation (outer)
    Assigned civic address displayed on the outside of the front property line. If many addresses are on a property, also check the inner address annotation.
  • Address annotation (outer) - proposed
    Proposed civic address displayed on the outside of the front property line. If many proposed addresses are on a property, also check the proposed inner address annotation. Proposed civic addresses are still under review and could change.
  • Address annotation (inner)
    Proposed civic address displayed on the inside of a property parcel.
  • Address annotation (inner) - proposed
    Proposed civic address displayed on the inside of a property parcel. Proposed civic addresses are still under review and could change.

Assessment / Survey Parcels

  • Current assessment parcel with roll number
    When viewing the assessment parcel layer, the roll number will pop up when hovering over the parcel. By clicking on the parcel, assessment and taxation information will open in a new window.
  • Parcel line
    These represent survey parcels and are to be used for reference only. A Manitoba Land Surveyor should be contacted before doing any work.
  • Parcel dimensions (m)
    These dimensions reflect measurements in metres for assessment or survey parcels. These are to be used for reference only and a Manitoba Land Surveyor should be contacted before doing any work.
  • Parcel dimension leader
    Some parcel dimensions will not fit in tight areas. Leader lines help point to a specific area.
  • Right of way dimensions
    These dimensions reflect measurements in metres for the right of way. These are to be used for reference only and a Manitoba Land Surveyor should be contacted before doing any work.

Infill guideline area

  • Infill guideline area 1
    Area 1: neighbourhoods that have relatively low density and where the predominant zoning category is R1-single-family.
  • Infill guideline area 2
    Area 2: neighbourhoods where there is a greater mix of densities and uses and where the predominant zoning category is R2-two-family.
  • Infill guideline area 1 (Secondary Plan)
    Area 1: neighbourhoods that have relatively low density; where the predominant zoning category is R1-single-family; subject to the regulations of an established secondary plan.
  • Infill guideline area 2 (Secondary Plan)
    Area 2: neighbourhoods where there is a greater mix of densities and uses; where the predominant zoning category is R2-two-family; subject to the regulations of an established secondary plan.

Airport Vicinity Protection Area (AVPA)

The Province of Manitoba regulates development around the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport.

  • AVPA Reg Area 1
    Land next to the airport. New residential development is not permitted, except replacing buildings and minor infill.
  • AVPA Reg Area 2
    Land further from the airport. New or replacement residential development is permitted.

Malls and Corridors PDO

  • Urban
    Properties fronting or flanking onto designated Urban Mixed Use Corridors as defined in Complete Communities 2.0. Properties are located within the Malls & Corridors PDO-1 in Winnipeg Zoning By-law no. 200/06.
  • Regional
    Properties fronting or flanking onto designated Regional Mixed Use Corridors, located within Regional Mixed Use Centre boundaries, both as defined in Complete Communities 2.0, and/or zoned "C3" or "C4" in Winnipeg Zoning By-law no. 200/06 and greater than 10 acres in area. Properties are located within the Malls and Corridors PDO-1 in Winnipeg Zoning By-law no. 200/06.
