Participate in a Council or Committee meeting

Members of the public can participate in Council and Committee meetings by submitting their comments in writing, or by presenting to a committee.

There are two different processes for which people can engage with Council and its committees:

  1. Submit comments in writing, or appear in delegation on a specific agenda item at a meeting of Council or its Committees
  2. Submit comments in writing, or speak to a hearing body at a public hearing

All meetings and public hearings are streamed live on the City’s YouTube channel. Following the meeting, the Committee Minute / Disposition documents are published on the City Clerk’s Decision Making Information System (DMIS).
