Seven Oaks Pool capital closure

In addition to the main tank closure, the splash pad and kiddie pool will be closed from September 8 - 26, 2026 for further tile work. The entire facility will be closed during this time. 

The main tank at the Seven Oaks Pool is scheduled to close for major capital work, including:

  • Concrete/structural repair
  • Waterproofing
  • Tile replacement:
    • Main tank
    • Part of the pool deck

Floor tiling repairs to the splash pad area will also be completed. 

Timeline

  • Start date: December 14, 2025
  • Estimated timeline: 12 - 14 months

Impact to public

The facility will be operational, with the exception of the following:

  • Main tank: closed beginning December 14, 2025 for 12-14 months
  • Swimming lessons: lessons requiring the main tank will not be scheduled
  • Rentals: efforts will be made to temporarily relocate groups who rent pool space
  • Splash pad: closed September 8 - 26, 2026
  • Kiddie pool: closed September 8 - 26, 2026
