Pan Am Pool requires renewal work to keep it operational for years to come. This project is part of a multi-year plan to upgrade our aquatic facilities. The planned work includes:
- Concrete repairs to the main pool tank, deck, and dive towers
- Replacing the waterproof membrane in the main tank and retiling
- Upgrades to meet current regulations and standards
Timeline
- Start date: January 2027
- Estimated timeline: 16 months
Impact to public
The facility will be closed to the public during construction. This will:
- Ensure public safety in and around the facility
- Limit the overall length of the disruption and project costs
Aquatic sport groups may have limited and controlled access to the training tank and the specialized dryland diving equipment during the closure.
