We are working with developers to build affordable housing on priority City-owned properties. 30 Granite Way has been selected as a priority site for affordable housing. The site has been created by subdividing the current surface parking lot on City-owned property where the Granite Curling Club is located.
UWCRC 2.0 will lead the development of a 111 mixed-income apartment building including 56 affordable housing units. The development will create a unique partnership that will ensure that riverbank lands will remain public, that much-needed affordable housing will be provided on site and that there will be the long-term viability of the adjacent heritage building.
We are holding a Meet and Greet Pop-up and invite the community to:
- Meet the non-profit developer
- Learn more about the project
- Ask questions
