Tracy Charette Fehr
Tracy Charette Fehr is an interdisciplinary artist of Métis/Settler origins with a passion for story, family and history. Her accomplished work is in textiles, embroidery, clay, paint, beading and quillwork with a special interest in Indigenous arts. A highly experienced mentor with over 20 years of experience, Tracy is passionate about storytelling - personal and cultural - and introducing others to ways to express and depict their own experiences. Janet Murata
Janet Murata is a Japanese Canadian professional calligrapher and small business owner of Michiko Craft with many commissioned works. She is highly skilled in origami and watercolour with interests in sustainable sewing and upcycling natural fibres. She has mentored hundreds of people one-on-one and in workshops. Tracy and Janet will be offering drop-in open studio times in the ideaMILL and running workshops at library branches throughout the city.
