On September 1, 2026, at approximately 3:26 a.m., officers from North District and the Tactical Support Team responded to the report of someone who was shot in the 400 block of College Avenue. Unknown if the suspect had fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The victim, a 16-year-old male was transported to hospital in stable condition.

The Major Crimes Unit is assuming the investigation.
