On June 8, 2026, just before 8:00 p.m., North District General Patrol officers responded to a residence in the 1-99 block of Primrose Crescent to assist in a Missing Person investigation.

Upon arrival, officers located a female that was deceased inside the residence.

The deceased has been identified as 73-year-old Lexie Diane SMART.

The Homicide Unit assumed responsibility for the investigation.
