The Winnipeg Police Service is asking for the public’s to identify a suspect involved in a home invasion in River Park South.

On April 2, 2026, around 8:45 a.m., an unidentified woman (photo 1) attended to a residence in the 100 block of Alburg Drive. The suspect identified herself as a police officer and pushed her way past the homeowner trying to enter the home and steal something in the front entryway.

She did not gain access and nobody was injured. The suspect drove off in a grey/silver Chevrolet Cobalt (photo 2) and was in the company of a second vehicle, a blue Hyundai Palisade (photo 3).

The Major Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate.
