Suspended driver involved in motor vehicle collision with cyclist: C26-104773

On May 6, 2026, police responded to a report of a collision between a 2018 Dodge Ram and a cyclist near the intersection of Dugald Road and Murdock Road.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., East District General Patrol officers attended and located an injured 23-year-old man in the ditch on Dugald Road, just east of Murdock Road, and provided first aid until members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service arrived. The man was transported to hospital in critical condition, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The 27-year-old female driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with police.

The investigation was turned over to the Traffic Division. Investigators confirmed that the driver of the Ram was operating the vehicle while her driver’s licence was suspended. The investigation is ongoing.
