Police seized loaded firearm from vehicle. One man in custody: C26-89828

On April 19, 2026, just before 7:30 a.m., West District General Patrol officers responded to an apartment complex in the 600 block of Kenaston Boulevard in response to an incident involving a firearm.

Upon arrival, officers located the involved parties involved sitting in a 2016 Dodge Challenger, parked in the parking lot. A man and a woman were safely extricated from the vehicle and the man was arrested. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded handgun which was seized by officers.

Logan Stanley Johnston Bruce BAKER, (21), has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
  • Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Pointing a Firearm
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 3
  • Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm x 2
  • Warrant – Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 2

He was detained in custody.
