West District search warrant leads to the seizure of firearms, weapons, and drugs. Four individuals charged: R26-14098

On March 22, 2026, Community Support officers executed a warrant in the West End neighbourhood. Officers located firearms, illicit drugs, ammunition and weapons, leading to the arrest of 12 individuals and 83 criminal charges.

In September of 2025, the West District Community Support Unit initiated an investigation regarding drug trafficking at a residence in the 900 block of Dominion Street.

On March 22, 2025, just after 6:00 p.m., with assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, Canine Unit, Drone Unit, North District Community Support Unit, and West District General Patrol, officers executed a warrant at the Dominion Street residence and seized the following:

  • Approximately 171 grams of fentanyl (Estimated Street Value = $25,650)
  • .40 caliber Smith & Wesson Pistol
  • Diane Model 24 T05 Pellet Gun
  • Airsoft Pistol
  • Five Machetes
  • Bear Spray
  • Nun Chucks
  • Metal bar filled with cement
  • Cattle prod
  • 102 rounds of assorted ammunition
  • Scale
  • Drug packaging materials

Sterling Clarence BEAULIEU, (54), has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 3
  • Possession of a Weapon x 10
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

Daniel James KEMBALL, (37), has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 3
  • Possession of a Weapon x 10
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Warrant – Fail to Attend Court

Veronica Lynda Faye MALLETT, (41), has been charged with the following:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Weapon x 10
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 15
  • Warrant – (Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 2)
  • Warrant – (Fail to Comply with Release Order x 2)
  • Warrant – Theft Under $5,000
  • Warrant – Process Proceeds of Crime (Public Interest)

All three were detained in custody.

A 45-year-old man is facing the following charges:

  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Weapon x 10
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

He was released on two Undertakings.
