Three in custody following traffic stop involving stolen vehicle: C26-63444

On March 18, 2026, shortly before 10:00 p.m., Organized Crime Unit officers observed three suspects in a stolen 2015 Jeep Patriot in the 2200 block of McPhillips Street. The Patriot, with stolen license plates affixed, had previously been reported stolen on January 22, 2026, from the 3200 block of Silver Avenue.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Elgin Avenue and arrested the three occupants without incident. Inside the vehicle, officers located a machete, a canister of bear spray, two metal brass knuckles, and forty rounds of .22 calibre ammunition.

Officers also seized 1.4 Ounces of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $2,800), 8.4 Ounces of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value = $1,500), and approximately $1,570 in CDN currency, resulting from a search of two of the suspects.

Carolyn Marie DRISKELL (37) is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a Weapon x 2
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized x 3
  • Public Mischief
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 4

Tyler Joseph MACMARTIN (37) is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a Weapon x 2
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized x 3
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Disobeying Order of the Court

Meaghan Angel Faith DRISKELL (27) is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a Weapon x 2
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon x 2
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking

All three were detained in custody.
