Update:

On March 12, 2026, two males were transported to hospital in critical condition, where they succumbed to their injuries.

The victims were identified as a 16-year-old male who resided in Sagkeeng, and a 32-year-old Jason Robert BAKER, a member of Hollow Water First Nation, residing in Winnipeg.

The Homicide Unit continues to investigate.

As previously released:

On March 12, 2026, around 5:30 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a gun call in the 300 block of Boyd Avenue.

Two individuals with injuries were located and transported to hospital in critical condition.

A man in his 30s, and a teenage male, have succumbed to their injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the Homicide Unit is asking for public assistance.
