Man flashes firearm in popular lounge. One man arrested: C26-60036

On March 15, 2026, just after 12:30 a.m., West District General Patrol officers responded to a lounge in the 200 block of Osborne Street for the report of a gun. Upon arrival, officers locate the man inside the establishment, where he was arrested without incident. A loaded handgun was seized.

The investigation determined that the man arrived at the establishment and once inside, he proceeded to show the loaded gun to many patrons, before security was notified, and police were contacted.

Samtra SAMTRA, (26), has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 3
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
  • Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon

He was detained in custody.
