Community Support Unit investigation leads to the arrest of seven individuals, seizure of drugs and replica firearms: R26-8327

In February 2026, members of the Central District Community Support Unit entered into an investigation regarding drug trafficking in the Weston neighbourhood.

On March 7, 2026, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team (TST), a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 1400 block of Logan Avenue. Investigators arrested four men and three women located inside the residence and seized the following property:

  • Approximately 11 grams of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $1,000)
  • Approximately 27 Gabapentin pills (Estimated Street Value = $90)
  • Approximately 30 Percocet pills (Estimated Street Value = $150)
  • Loaded Winchester Model 11 CO2 replica air pistol
  • PFM 16 replica air pistol
  • Kimber MFG ultra TLEII replica air pistol
  • .45 calibre ACP replica air pistol with working red dot sight
  • Winchester Model 11 .177 calibre air pistol
  • .177 calibre ammunition
  • Collapsible baton
  • Machete
  • Fixed blade knife in sheath
  • Body armour
  • Approximately $550 in Canadian currency
  • Drug packaging and paraphernalia
  • 2015 Rockwood Roo travel trailer (Estimated Value = $20,000)

A 58-year-old man, a 25-year-old man, and a 19-year-old woman are facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

They were all released on two Undertakings.

David Richard WALSH, (61), has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Marcus Fredrick JONES, (46), has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 4
  • Warrant – Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Christina Roberta BARTO, (45), has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking x 2

Al three were detained in custody.

A 31-year-old woman was released without charge.
