Six arrested in relation to Magnus Avenue home invasion: C26-41133

On February 21, 2026, North District General Patrol officers arrested five men and one woman involved in an invasion of a multi-suite residence in the 600 block of Magnus Avenue.

At 1:40 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service received a report that a group of suspects, masked and armed, had broken into a home and were actively robbing residents of their personal property. Within minutes, arriving officers located six suspects and took them into custody. There were no injuries reported by the nine adult victims.

Officers located a folding knife and a sawed-off Remington Sportsman 58 shotgun used in the robbery and seized them as evidence.

Mitchell HARPER (29), Denis HOULE (36), Alaya SHINGOOSE (41), Vincent TROUT (45), Vince KLYNE (46), and George OKEMOW (39), are charged with multiple offences including break & enter with robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, weapons and firearms-related offences, and breach of orders.

All were detained in custody.
