Man arrested after sexually exploiting teenager he met on social media: C25-260867

The Winnipeg Police Service Counter Exploitation Unit has arrested a man after receiving information that a teen was sexually assaulted after meeting him through social media.

In October 2025, the suspect, under the username MANITOBAW, contacted the teen through social media. The online contact progressed to several in-person meetings, during which the teen was sexually assaulted.

The Counter Exploitation Unit was notified about the incidents and identified a suspect.

On February 1, 2026, the investigators arrested the suspect in the 100 block of Saddler Avenue.  

Christ Ismael ANDJIDE (24) has been charged with:

  • Sexual Assault x 2
  • Sexual Interference x 2
  • Obtaining Sexual Services from a Person Under 18 years of age x 2
  • Luring a Person Under 16 years of age by Means of Telecommunication

ANDJIDE was detained in custody.
