Agnes Street shooting incident results in life-threatening injuries: C26-33059

On February 11, 2026, at 6:55 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a residence in the 600 block of Agnes Street for the report of an injured male from a shooting incident.

Multiple Units from across the city, including specialty units, attended the residence where a 21-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening upper body injury was located. Officers provided life-saving measures to the victim before he was transported to hospital by ambulance in critical condition.

The victim remains in hospital in critical condition and due to his injuries, the Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrest(s) have been made at this time.
