Police investigating the death of a man on Lydia Street: C25-307135

On December 21, 2025, Central Division General Patrol officers responded to an apartment complex in the 100 block of Lydia Street. Officers located a
man inside a residence with serious injuries. They provided emergency medical care to the victim and he was transported to hospital in critical condition.

The Major Crimes Unit assumed the investigation.

On December 22, 2025, a 27-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault and detained in custody.

On December 24, 2025, the victim, 42-year-old, Michael Allen HARRINGTON succumbed to his injuries. The Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.
