Arrests made in Homicide Investigation: C25-56953

Update:

A man and a women have been charged for the murder of 28-year-old Diego MOSCOZA. On March 17, 2025, MOSCOZA was located deceased in the 300 block of Pritchard Avenue.

The Homicide Unit continued to investigate and identified two suspects. Investigators determined the two suspects had caused MOSCOZA’s death.

On December 15, 2025, police attended to the Headingley Correctional Centre and the Women’s Correctional Centre and executed a warrant of arrest for Second Degree on Taylor Gilbert LINKLATER (26) and Noreen Ceara Remona THOMAS (27). Both remain in custody.

On December 17, 2025, the Homicide Unit attended to a residence in the 100 block of Powers Street and executed a warrant of arrest for Accessory After the Fact to Murder on Devlin LANGLOIS (25). She was detained in custody.

As previously released, on March 17, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a suspicious call in the 300 block of Pritchard Avenue. Upon arrival, they located a male deceased outside.

An autopsy was completed and his death was determined to be a homicide.

The deceased victim has been identified as 28-year-old Diego MOSCOZA (MOSCOZA JIMENEZ), a Mexican citizen who was living in Manitoba for the past two years.

The Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation and the next of kin have been notified.

Investigators are looking to speak with any individuals who may have had contact with MOSCOZA since the beginning of March 2025.
