Warrant execution on residence leads to illicit drugs and money seizure by police: C25-286277

In November of 2025, the North District Community Support Unit entered into an investigation regarding a residence that was trafficking illicit drugs in the Lord Selkirk Park neighbourhood.

On November 28, 2025, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team (TST), the Guns and Gangs Unit, the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Unit (RPAS), and the Canine Unit (K9), a warrant was executed on a private residence in the 200 block of Selkirk Avenue.

A man and a woman were taken into custody and the following items were seized as evidence:

  • Approximately 88 grams of crack cocaine (estimated street value = $7,040)
  • Approximately 64 grams of black-market marijuana (estimated street value = $640)
  • Over $3,600 of Canadian currency
  • Approximately $20 of American currency

A 37-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman are facing a charge of Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine and Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000. Both were released on Undertakings.
