On November 10, 2025, just before 11:00 a.m., Central District General Patrol officers attended to a residence in the 200 block of Furby Street on an unrelated matter. While there, they located a man who was in medical distress. He was provided with medical care when it was revealed that he was involved in string of retail thefts and wanted on nine outstanding warrants for his arrest.
The Property Crime Unit assumed the investigation and investigators determined the following:
Between May 15, 2025, and October 5, 2025, a male suspect attended to several retail stores in CF Polo Park and stole a variety of merchandise, with an estimated value of $20, 300.
Dysin Cole SPENCE, (23), has been charged with the following:
- Warrant – Theft Under $5,000 x 5, Fail to Comply with Release Order
- Warrant – Theft Under $5,000 x 5, Fail to Comply with Release Order x 2
- Warrant – Theft Under $5,000
- Warrant – Theft Under $5,000
- Warrant – Theft Under $5,000
- Warrant – Theft Under $5,000 x 4
- Warrant – Fail to Comply with Release Order x 2
- Warrant – Theft Under $5,000 x 7, Theft Over $5,000
- Illegal Possession of Identity Card, Identity Fraud, Theft Under $5,000 (RCMP)
He was detained in custody.
