Police seize drugs and guns. Two men arrested: R25-55203

In October 2025, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit began a drug trafficking investigation in the Westdale neighbourhood. As a result of this investigation, seven firearms were seized along with $39,300 in illicit drugs, and around $114,000 in cash. Two men were arrested.

On October 18, 2025, just before 6:00 p.m., with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team, the Guns and Gangs Unit executed a warrant on a residence in the 00-99 block of Shepton Bay. Two males were located within the residence and were subsequently arrested.

Items seized by investigators during the execution of the warrant included the following:

  • One-kilogram of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $25,000)
  • One-kilogram of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value = $7,000)
  • 12 grams of Psilocybin (Estimated Street Value = $120)
  • 359 Percocet pills (Estimated Street Value = $7,180)
  • 3 digital working scales
  • Drug packaging materials
  • Approximately $114,000 Canadian currency
  • Money counter
  • Safe
  • Crypto Wallet
  • Cooey Machine & Arms shotgun
  • Stevenson model 58 fifle with clip
  • CIL model 607H shotgun
  • Stevenson model 58 rifle without clip
  • Ranger shotgun
  • Topper model 48 shotgun
  • Winchester model 94-30 rifle

A 55-year-old man is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance – Psilocybin
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations

A 52-year-old man is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine x 2
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine x 2
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance – Psilocybin
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance – Ecstasy
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance x 4
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 x 2
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations

Both were released on Appearance Notices and Undertakings.
