On September 10, 2025 at 1:25 p.m., investigators from the Winnipeg Police Service Organized Crime Unit (OCU) took a 35-year-old man and a 31-year-old man into custody in the Tyndall Park area. The arrests resulted in the seizure of 7.5 kilograms of cocaine concealed in a hidden aftermarket compartment in a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe, valued at approximately $175,000. Investigators also located approximately $150,000 in Canadian currency in a second vehicle.

Earlier that day, OCU investigators received information from the Manitoba RCMP Roving Traffic Unit about a vehicle suspected to be involved in intraprovincial drug trafficking which was headed to Winnipeg. Investigators located the Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2023 Toyota Rav 4 in Winnipeg, where they observed what appeared to be a drug transaction between the drivers in the Tyndall Park area.

Both drivers were taken into custody, and a subsequent search revealed drugs in hidden aftermarket compartment in one vehicle, and Canadian currency in the second vehicle.

Joshua Michael HAHN (35) of Calgary and Alexander VICEDO (31) of Winnipeg have been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) and Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000. They were both detained in custody.
