Police arrest a woman for damaging property and assaulting a peace officer: C25-146350

On June 29th, 2025, around 10:00 a.m., officers from North District arrested a woman in the 300 block of Magnus Avenue after receiving a report about someone damaging parked vehicles.

Police observed a woman prying a vehicle door handle with a screwdriver. When police came towards her, she threw the screwdriver at them, nearly hitting one of the officers. Nobody was injured and she was taken into custody. The vehicle sustained damage. 

Diane Marie MOUSSEAU (35), was charged with assault to a peace officer with a weapon, damaging property (mischief) and a warrant for failing to comply with conditions of a Release Order x 3.

She was detained in custody.
