Counter Exploitation Sweep

The Winnipeg Police Service's Counter Exploitation Unit (CEU) continues to conduct outreach and proactive offender sweeps in the community.

Between June 13 and June 17, 2025 in response to several reported community concerns, CEU officers assisted by Division 11 and 13 officers, conducted a sweep in Winnipeg's West End. 7 men ranging from 25 to 42 years of age were arrested for Obtaining Sexual Services for Consideration and released on Undertakings as mandated by the Criminal Code.

Several people working in the sex trade were offered community resources.
