Suspect arrested after teen robbed at knifepoint: C25-133450

On June 15, 2025 around 8:37 p.m., a youth was robbed of his belongings while in a parking lot near Sargent Avenue and Berry Street.

West District patrol officers spoke with the victim, who said he was approached by several teens—each pulling a knife from fanny packs they were wearing. One of them cut him with a knife and stole his personal property before he was able to run away. He did not require medical attention.

Using a description provided by the victim, officers were able to find one of suspects in the 1800 block of Ellice Street and arrest him. During the arrest, police recovered a knife as well as property believed to have been stolen from the victim.

A 16-year-old male is facing charges of robbery, possessing a weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon. He was released on an Undertaking.
