Winnipeg Police Service officers arrested three individuals while searching a residence in the 100 block of Hallet Street on June 9.

In early June, North District Community Support Unit officers learned of drug trafficking and firearm activity at the Point Douglas home. With help from the Tactical Support Team, the Guns & Gangs Unit, North District General Patrol, and the West District Community Support Unit, the home was searched (Criminal Code and CDSA Search Warrant). A loaded 9mm handgun, various rounds of ammunition, about $500 CDN, and almost 20 grams of Cocaine with an estimated street value of $1,600 were found.

Officers arrested Dillon MORGAN (32), Joshua KROEKER (35), and Willow SIDOTI (24) at the residence and charged them with multiple firearm and drug trafficking-related offences.

During the investigation, the investigators also learned that MORGAN and KROEKER had intimidated and coerced the rightful residents of the home into using it as a base for their drug trafficking operation since early March. As a result, both were also charged with intimidation, uttering threats, and additional firearm-related offences.

All three were detained in custody.

The Community Support Units continue pro-active engagement within the community to address concerns from citizens.
