The Winnipeg Police Service’s Homicide Unit is asking for your help to find a man who is wanted for the murder of Ralph MOISE

Investigators have identified 33-year-old Paul Xavier BONNICK as a suspect. A Canada-Wide warrant for Second Degree Murder has been issued.

As previously released:

On May 23, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 300 block of Cumberland Avenue for the report of an injured male.

Central District General Patrol officers arrived on scene and located a male on the ground suffering from serious upper body injuries. Officers provided emergency medical care to the male victim, including the use of chest seals.

The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition where he has since succumbed to his injuries.

The Homicide Unit assumed the investigation and have identified the deceased as 39-year-old Ralph MOISE, a member of Sayisi Dene First Nation, residing in Tadoule Lake.
