Woman arrested and charged as a result of Community Support Unit drug and firearm investigation – C25-116689

Central District Community Support Unit officers arrested a 32-year-old woman while searching a residence in the 600 block of Langside Street on May 30.

In mid-May, officers started an investigation after learning of drugs and firearms at the Langside Street home. During the search of the residence, assisted by the Guns & Gangs and East District Community Support Units, two replica air pistols, various ammunition, two body armour vests, and 65 grams of Cocaine with an estimated street value of $5,200 were found.   

Autumn MUCHIKEKWANNAPE was arrested and charged with eight drug, firearm, and body armour offences and was held in police custody.

The Community Support Units of the Winnipeg Police Service continue pro-active engagement within the community to address concerns from citizens.
