The Winnipeg Police Service previously issued a media release seeking the public’s assistance in locating Aaron Junior Colin HOULE, and Jermaine Gage HOULE, who were wanted in relation to the murders of Sheldon Derrach CATCHEWAY and Shanastene Irene MCLEOD on February 15, 2025.

Update:

On April 24, 2025, the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit (MIVOAU), with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team (TST), arrested 27-year-old Aaron Junior Colin HOULE, of Winnipeg, on the strength of a warrant for Accessory After the Fact to Murder.

On May 14, 2025, MIVOAU, with the assistance of TST, arrested 24-year-old Jermaine Gage HOULE, of Winnipeg, on the strength of a warrant for the following charges:

  • Second Degree Murder
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 2

They were both detained in custody.
