On May 13, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to suspicious circumstances at a residence in the 300 block of Austin Street.

North District General Patrol and Community Support officers, arrived on scene and located a deceased male with upper body injuries.

The Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation, and identified the deceased as 52-year-old Clinton SIMARD, who resided in Winnipeg.
