On May 8, 2025, at approximately 5:25 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a call regarding suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of Bannatyne Avenue.
Central District General Patrol officers attended the above location to check on the well-being of occupants. While clearing the residence, officers encountered several individuals and located multiple firearms, illegal drugs, and body armour. The following items were seized:
- .32 calibre handgun loaded with ammunition
- .22 calibre sawed-off rifle with magazine and ammunition
- 12-gauge shotgun loaded with ammunition and tampered serial number
- 14-gauge sawed-off shotgun
- Approximately 150 grams of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value: $7,510)
- Approximately 40 grams of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $3,940)
- Body Armour
Christopher Blaine HENDERSON (51) of Winnipeg has been charged with the following:
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
- Possess body armour without a valid permit or in a manner inconsistent with the valid permit.
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – METHAMPHETAMINE
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – COCAINE
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regs
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
William Jackson ANDERSON (44) of Winnipeg has been charged with the following:
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
- Possess body armour without a valid permit or in a manner inconsistent with the valid permit.
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – METHAMPHETAMINE

Alyssa Enna BOULANGER of Winnipeg has been charged with the following:

- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
- Possession of a Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 3
- Possess body armour without a valid permit or in a manner inconsistent with the valid permit
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – METHAMPHETAMINE
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – COCAINE
Justin Andrew SPENCE (44) of Winnipeg has been charged with the following:
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regs
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
- Possess body armour without a valid permit or in a manner inconsistent with the valid permit.
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – METHAMPHETAMINE
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – COCAINE
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
Kory Keiron FLAMAND (46) of Winnipeg has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regs
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
- Possess body armour without a valid permit or in a manner inconsistent with the valid permit.
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – METHAMPHETAMINE
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – COCAINE
All five were detained in custody.
