On May 6, 2025, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Child Abuse Unit arrested an adult male regarding the sexual assault of a teenage female.

The female reported that over the course of the past year she was befriended by an adult male who invited her back to a residence in the 300 block of Cathedral Avenue and provided her drugs.

On May 4, she was invited to the residence, provided drugs and was sexually assaulted by the male.

She subsequently left the residence and the incident was reported to police.

Dwayne Edward FESCHUK, 43-years-old, of Winnipeg, was charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference.

He was detained in custody.
