Stolen Vehicle/Weapon – Arrest: C25-91433

On April 30, 2025 at approximately 9:20 a.m., North District General Patrol officers of the Winnipeg Police Service observed a stolen 2007 Mazda 6 parked in the 300 block of College Avenue while conducting proactive patrols.

Officers observed an adult male exiting the vehicle and promptly placed him under arrest without incident. A subsequent search produced a pair of brass knuckles concealed on the male’s person as well as approximately 18 grams of Crack Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $1,800), which they seized as evidence.

Through their investigation, officers determined the involved vehicle had been reported stolen the day prior from a victim known to him.

Tyson Shane DANIELS, 33, of Winnipeg is charged with the following offences:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
  • Carry Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Operation of a Conveyance while Prohibited by Order Under Criminal Code
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance – Cocaine

DANIELS was detained in custody.
