Homicide – Investigation: C25-90061

As previously released:

On April 28, 2025 at 2:08 p.m., the Winnipeg Police responded to a domestic incident in the 500 block of Sherburn Street.

East and West District General Patrol officers attended and located an adult male and adult female both in medical distress. Officers administered emergency medical care to both individuals until paramedics arrived. Both were transported to hospital in critical condition, and later succumbed to their injuries.

The Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation. There are no suspects outstanding, and investigators do not believe there is any danger to the public.

Update:

Homicide investigators have identified this incident as a murder-suicide. The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Nadia FLETT-CARRIERE, a member of God’s Lake First Nation residing in Winnipeg, and the deceased male was a 27-year-old male from Winnipeg.
