Aggravated Assault – Public Assistance: C25-81494

On April 18, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., General Patrol officers from the North and Central Districts, responded to the 700 block of Alverstone Street for the report of an assault with a machete.

Police located two injured parties, and provided emergency medical care while waiting for paramedics. A 15-year-old female victim was transported to hospital in critical condition, and an 18-year-old male victim was transported in unstable condition. Both victims were eventually upgraded to stable condition despite their serious injuries.  

Investigators believe suspects assaulted the victims before fleeing on foot.
