Lemay Forest – Arrest: C25-78113

On April 14, officers of the Winnipeg Police Service were present in the area of the Lemay Forest for the purpose of upholding the peace regarding the potential conflict between employees authorized by the property owner to be present, and demonstrators in the area.

At approximately 10:10 a.m., officers arrested an adult female in the vicinity of Rue Landry and Avenue De La Digue for attending on private property and interfering with authorized employees.

The 39-year-old demonstrator is facing the following charges:

  • Contempt of Court
  • Mischief – Enjoyment of Property

She was released on a Promise to Appear with an Undertaking.
