Drugs Investigation – Arrest: C25-64838

On March 27, 2025, at approximately 9:17 p.m., North District General Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Salter Street and Pritchard Avenue with an adult male driver operating a vehicle with Alberta registration for an unrelated matter.

During the traffic stop, officers observed behavioural indicators and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle consistent with drug trafficking, and arrested the driver without incident. A search of the vehicle resulted in the following being seized:

  • Approximately 520 grams of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value $18,000)
  • Digital Scale and Packaging Materials
  • Two Cell Phones

A 22-year-old male from Winnipeg is facing charges of Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – COCAINE, and Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.

He was released on an Appearance Notice as mandated by the Criminal Code.
