Update:

As previously released, On July 5, 2024, at approximately 10:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving multiple vehicles near Lagimodiere Boulevard and East Mint Place.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service attended and transported an injured adult male to hospital. An adult female was also transported to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance in critical condition. Both suffered life altering injuries as a result of the collision.

The Traffic Division’s Collision Investigation Section assumed the investigation and on March 10, 2025 Harparkash TEJE, 29 yrs of Winnipeg was charged with Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Cause Bodily Harm x 2.

He was detained in custody.
