Residential Break & Enter – Arrest: C25-48421

On March 6, 2025, at approximately 4:18 a.m., East District General Patrol officers of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a residence in the 100 block of Riverton Avenue for the report of a residential break & enter in progress.

Attending officers located the suspect within the residence and arrested him without incident. The residents, a 39-year-old female and two teens were located unharmed. The investigation determined that the suspect had entered the residence by breaking a window, causing approximately $1,500 in damage.

The suspect and the victims were previously unkown to one another.

Tyler Austin DYCK, 25, of Winnipeg, has been charged with Break & Enter with Intent and was found to have an active warrant of arrest in his name for Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

Dyck was detained in custody.
