On March 2, 2025 at approximately 8:53 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service received a call regarding an individual armed with a firearm in the 300 block of Victor Street. No shots were reported to have been fired.

Central District General Patrol officers attended and learned that a 56-year-old male suspect was in possession of a rifle on a balcony at the above location. Officers located the suspect, took him into custody without incident, and seized a rifle.

Malcolm Bradley CLARENCE, 56 yrs of Winnipeg has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

He was detained in custody.
