Stabbing – Investigation: C25-39392

On February 22, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service’s East District with the assistance of TST and K9, responded for the report of a stabbing in the area of Niverville Avenue and Champlain Street. A citizen in the area observed the injured party and called 911.

Upon arrival, WFPS was onscene with a 14 year-old female who had been stabbed and she was subsequently transported to hospital in unstable condition. She was eventually upgraded to stable condition.

Police learned that the victim was walking to meet someone, when she was confronted by a group of unknown females and ultimately assaulted and stabbed. They fled and a description of the suspects has not yet been established.
