Stabbing – Arrest: C25-26046

As previously released, on February 5, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 300 block of Princess Street for the report of a Stabbing.

Central District General Patrol officers attended and located a 37-year-old male victim laying on the ground who was suffering from a serious stab wound to his lower body. Officers provided emergency medical care to the victim with the application of a tourniquet and he was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The Major Crimes Unit has assumed and is continuing to investigate.

Update:

The Major Crimes Unit continued to investigate the stabbing incident that occurred on February 5, 2025, in the 300 block of Princess Street, and an adult male suspect was identified.

On February 16, 2025, at approximately 1:15 p.m., officers located the suspect in the 300 block of Princess Street and arrested him without incident.

Dorian Reid HARDISTY, 26, of Winnipeg has been charged with Assault with a Weapon.

He was detained in custody.
