Aggravated Assault – Investigation: C25-26821

On February 6, 2025, at approximately 4:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a lounge in the 100 block of Osborne Street for the report of an adult male who had been shot.

Responding West District General Patrol officers attended and located a 29-year-old male victim inside the establishment suffering from a serious injury sustained from a gunshot. Officers provided emergency medical care to the male with the application of a chest seal. He was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable. The suspect(s) fled before the arrival of police and the firearm believed to have been used in the assault remains outstanding.

The Major Crimes Unit has assumed the investigation.
