On January 4, 2025 at approximately 4:53 p.m., The Winnipeg Police Service responded to a multi-use fitness facility in the Grant Park area for the report of a sexual assault.

Attending West District General Patrol officers learned that a 10-year-old female was in a private stall located in the universal change room area. An adult male suspect was in the stall next to her, and used a cellular device to take photos of her in various stages of undress. His actions were witnessed by the child’s father who notified staff, and police were contacted. Officers arrested the suspect, who was still on the premises, without incident. The victim was not injured.

Colin GAUTHIER, 26 years of Winnipeg, has been charged with Voyeurism. He was released on a court order prohibiting contact with individuals under 16, as mandated by the Criminal Code.
