Sexual Assault – Arrest: C24-286128

On December 6, 2024 at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a multi-use fitness facility located in the Elmwood/Kildonan neighbourhood for the report of a sexual assault.

Attending East District General Patrol officers arrested a male suspect still on the premises without incident. Officers also identified two male victims in their teens and confirmed they were uninjured.

The Sex Crimes Unit assumed the investigation and learned the suspect approached the victims in a common area of the men’s changeroom, exposed himself and sexually assaulted both teens. The victims confronted the suspect and advised staff who summoned police to attend.


Paul Tactac UNCIANO, 47, of Winnipeg is charged with the following offences:
 

  • Sexual Assault x 2
  • Sexual Interference
  • Indecent Act


The suspect and the victims were previously unknown to one another.

Unciano was released on a court order prohibiting contact with individuals under 18, as mandated by the Criminal Code.
